Rick Weingarten - Vibraphone & Vocals
Like Lionel Hampton, Rick started in music by playing the drums. For over 10 years, he toured the US playing with the Blue Nights Drum and Bugle Corps and in a variety of rock bands. He then went back to college and studied vibraphone under Dr. Doug Walter. Since earning his Bachelor of Music and Jazz Certification, Rick has played all over the world with some fantastic groups and musicians including Jim Cullum, Art Lande, Fred Moldenhauer, Pete Wernick, and his own group, the Good Vibes Quartet. He worked with Roger for many years in the Fred Moldenhauer sextet.
